“I need to replace GE Profile PEB1590SM2SS. It is installed with the trim kit. What would be the replacement item. Will the same trim kit work? Was the PEB 1590 considered to be a built in.”

Hello PEPPER - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and we are happy to help you. Your PEB1590SM2SS convection microwave can be replaced by the new Profile #PEB9159SJSS convection microwave. However, the trim kit for the PEB9159SJSS requires a cabinet cutout of 17-1/8" high x 23-1/4" wide so the cabinet cutout you have of 18-3/4" high x 24" wide will require an adjustment.
