• Hi JG- This model does not have a temperature sensor. Select models offer an auto heat sensor that automatically turns the blower on if excess heat builds up around the hood. When doing a lot of cooking and hood has not been turned on, the hood will come on automatically if the temperatures become unsafe. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
