The heating zones have a small and a large size so you can fit the size of your pot or pan. Special pans are not needed for the cooktop but they do need to be compatible with radiant glass cooktops. Aluminum, stainless steel, copper bottom or porcelain enamel on cast iron are the recommended types.

The Bridge Zone allows you to use the left front and rear burners together to create a larger cooking area for cookware like roasting pans and griddles. You do not need magnetic pans for this unit.
