“We have a GE Advantium microwave 2005 model & selection knob doesn’t work. We have shut it off at the breaker to reset it. When you push it in it won’t take can we replace the know and mechanism? I see the new one still has the knob. Is it better?”

Hi there, We're sorry to hear that your advantium knob isn't working anymore and understand what a pain that is. If you're asking can the knob be taken from the new model and placed into the older model, then that will not work as the parts are not the same. We would recommend simply replacing the advantium as our newer models have lots of incredible cooking features. These units also have over 175 preprogrammed menu selections.
