Whenever we receive feedback regarding a concern about one of our products it’s shared with and reviewed by our product team. Given that fact, we don’t expect you to experience any issues with our Combo. We also provide a warranty should an unusual situation occur. -- We recommend cleaning the lint filter every 5th dry cycle and the foam filter about every 50 cycles. There's some great cleaning information on page 19 in the Use and Care manual, which can be found on the Best Buy product page or our website, and in an article on our website titled “GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Filter Cleaning."
