• Hi Judy! Thanks for your question. The Light cycle is for light to medium soiled dishes. It is safe for china and crystal with no options selected and is 55 minutes long. The 1 Hour Wash is 60 minutes long and will quickly wash lightly soiled dishes. We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
