“Including hook up for venting the dryer can this unit fit in a 28inch deep space? I am looking at putting it in a closet that is 23.5" deep then the wall is 4.5inches so a total of 28" deep.”

Hello Rose - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. This washer/dryer combination unit requires 0" clearance on both sides and rear and a 1" clearance in the front and top. The dryer unit can be exhausted out of the side of the unit, but because the unit requires a 1" clearance in the front, there would not be enough room to install this in a 28" deep space.
