This is for a rental unit. The one that was delivered leaked water. Had to wait for a replacement. Second one is appears to be working OK. It is not as noisy as I feared. So I am giving it 3 stars, in anticipation that it will work well for a good period of time. Due to first one leaking water it will never make it to 4-5 stars in my eye.

Unfortunately not all laundry areas are made alike --- but lucky this GE Spacesaver Slackable W/D did the trick. You might not be able to fit a normal load of laundry in like those traditional models --- but for the space it does well. The price is well below other units that do just as good of a job.

I bought this washer/dryer combo because it is very efficient and fits perfectly into my condo's closet. LOVE IT.

Easy to use and gets the job done quick. The cloths are done drying by the time the was is done. I love it.

Since not many are sold, Best Buy does not have any on the floor. We ordered the GE model sight unseen. Because of the small space, we did not have many choices. The key feature is that the dryer exhaust can be run out the left or right side. We only had depth of 28 3/4 inches to work with so this was a key feature that most dryers do not offer. The washing machine makes a lot of unusual noises. At first we thought that it was broken. The service rep checked it out and told us that the noises were normal. The washing machine is loud. I am hoping that it is reliable. Even though it is small, you can still wash two queen size sheets and two pillow cases.

The machine is working well. The only problem is that it doesn't quite fit in the space so we can't put a door on that closest. Oh and it is a bit loud.

I'm pleased with my purchase so far. I needed a small stacked washer & dryer, due to limited space and this one has the features that I wanted.

I wish I read the reviews on this machine before purchasing. It has a lot of options on how to wash and dry which is great but the overall machine is WAY TOOOO LOUD!! from the water to the spinning its awful. I live on the top floor so I have to always do the laundry during the day when I know everyone is awake downstairs since the spinning cycle is so loud and shakes the whole machine whether I have a small amount of clothes or large it does the same thing.

This was on the top of my list of units I was considering for my new condo. It ended up being the only one that would fit in the space allotted for it, so I ordered it. The reviews before had been good, so I felt good about the decision. The guys who delivered and set it up were very nice and prompt. I have used it several times and have no complaints!

the machine fits the space perfectly and very easy to vent. lots of choices for cycle washes. but it is not a top of the line washer dryer, however for my purposes it works great

This unit is great for a small space. Just make sure you measure your space and compare with dimensions.

After a few months of use I am pleased with this space-saving, stacked washer/dryer. The washer can handle a decent load - for example, a full set of sheets. Conserves on water and energy but clothes are clean, altough I do set for a second rinse. The only reason for less than five stars is the washer is noisier than I expected. But with less washer/dryer choices available for the tight space requirements, I am happy with the GE unit and share this recommendation.

This washer dryer unit was perfect for our needs. Size is perfect for smaller spaces & it works great!! Very quiet & does a womderful job.

Needed a Washer/dryer for kitchen and garage laundry. This fits perfectly in a closet.

I was worried about the reviews on how well this product would work with automatic water fill and complaints of the noise. But this was the only washer/dryer that would fit for our house. After using multiple time with different size loads I am happy with the auto water level fill. It uses a lot less water than I thought it should but the clothes come out very clean and it does a great job. It holds a lot more clothes than I thought it would and even with a large load it fills up with enough water to do the wash. I runs different and sounds different from any other washers than I have had but works well. I was going to get another front load washer but this works just about as well and uses minimum amount of water. Dryer also works well.

This one-piece washing machine and drier works well. I replaced a mismatched pair that didn't stack because I didn't need such huge capacity. It doesn't accommodate a week's worth of sheets and towels, so I do them separately. The drier vent is a bit primitive. The one in my full-size drier had a very fine mesh, and this one has a larger mesh, leaving lint all around it in slightly awkward corners. The washing machine gives you choice of cycles separate from water temperature, so you can do a delicate wash with hot water if you want. And you don't have to crouch down on the floor to put the clothes in! The washer does make odd sounds, but my other one did too.

The washer gets the clothes clean, but the dryer's lint trap isn't efficient. The lint trap has to be cleaned out often. We purchased this washer/dryer because of a space limitation. It wasn't our first or second choice.
