“Call me dumb, but I cannot understand ventless drying but then you need a vent cap. Is the only hook up needed is for water or do you need a line going outside still for the vent? I'm confused. I thought ventless meant it somehow vents inside a room.”

This optional vent cap is used to terminate a round 4” duct previously used by a vented dryer. When dryer venting is not required, such as with the Ultrafast Combo, you can use this vent cap to protect your ductwork system from precipitation, debris and wildlife. -- If your question is about our Ultrafast Combo PFQ97HSPVDS, we can confirm that it uses ventless heat pump technology so there is no need for a dryer exhaust vent.
