(3 switches + 1 light = 4 way) [I also use the "dimmer" version of this switch with 2 add-on switches.] Prerequisite: all these GE smart switches will need neutral wires in each switch box. I suggest you search the web for GE z-wave 4 way connections for help in "converting" [actually re-purposing] your current wires (which switch "power" to the light) to this smart switch variant where the master does the power switching and the add-on switches send low-voltage commands to the master.
