“If you have a phone case on the phone for protection will that work or do I have to remove the case each time I use the VR gear”

I have a case that is screwed on and I have to unscrew it and take off protective case each time. To me, taking the case off and putting it back on is no big deal if it protects your phone and you get enjoyment from the VR Gear.
