All compatible phones (Samsung S6 phones and Note 5) have the same screen resolution: 2560x1440. The Gear VR splits that in half for stereoscopic viewing, so the resolution is 2560x1440 total or 1280x1440 per eye.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.at best I would say its 480. Definitely not 720 or 1080.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1080
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It really depends on the game or app you are playing or using.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It uses your phones display, so the same as that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's a tough one really. Pixels are going to make or break the experience as your eyes are so close to the screen. My Note 5 has a screen door effect BUT you look past it once you get to playing. I would say way above 720 and really close to 1080.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With the device screen being 1440p, each eye would get a 720 max resolution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It uses your phone screen so i would assume its qhd
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can't equate this to the visuals in a computer monitor or tv. Your Galaxy S6 specs don't quite come through on the VR. The picture, if that is what you want to call it, is slightly blurry depending on the program you are watching. Go to a Best Buy and hopefully view a demo there. That is the best way to make up your mind if this product is for you. Keep in mind that the upcoming VR products from Oculus will be tethered to a computer and a pretty high end one at that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends what you watch or do. Some things are HD others are not.
