• Yes, the only caveat is that they have to be videos that you've recorded or uploaded directly to your phone's storage. You can't stream movies in Theater Mode unless you use a video app through the oculus that has a Theater Setting. (for example, Netflix lets you watch movies from a Cabin-like setting and view on a big screen TV)

• Yes, depending on their encoding. I love watching videos on the moon and in the theater

• You can as long as it's either a video saved on your phone, or if you go to the Internet they upgraded the internet feature a lot the past couple months, you can use a streaming app like Netflix or VUDU to watch any movie you want to!
