• I doubt you would. As the games and app itself are saved on the phone not the headset

• All of the downloads are on your phone, the handset just provides the viewing port to make your vision stereo. Nothing is actually stored on the headset.

• It depends, the samsung VR Gear uses the occulus systems so if your replaced gear also uses occulus then the only isue may be having to start over. Though not all vr headgear uses occulus systems.
