“Fan and charger I have 2 Gear VR Goggles and 2 Note 4s because I love them so much. But I want the Note 5. So will this new model fit the Note 5 and is it worth it. I heard the new models also have built in fans, charging ports and are lighter. Is this all true? Let me know please.”

This is the CONSUMER version of Gear VR. The last 2 were "Innovator" editions meant for developers.. It is BETTER.. Lighter with improved touch pad and a charging port.. They had a fan on the second Innovator but this ONE does not.. but there is NO fogging issue.. ALSO The Note 5 doesn't overhear until 1-2 hours, unlike when the Note 4 would within 10-20 minutes..

Please try again later.The new one does work for the Note 5 it's adjustable so it also works with the S6 Edge + & the S6 & S6 edge I'm not sure about an actual fan but I believe your correct and it does have a charging port so you don't have to run down your phone's battery they are definitely lighter than the one that came out for the S6 & S6 edge earlier this year. But unlike both previous models they got cheap and didn't include anything to store or carry them in, I believe the first one came with a hard case and I had the 2nd one and it came with a cloth bag You get nothing to put this one in when your not using it but that's the only bad mark against them
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Its lighter and as far as a fan, it doesn't have one but it does have vents in it so the lens wont fog up like the old one. It also does have a charging port on it . The new version supports note 5, S6, S6 edge.

Don't know bout the charger & Fan though, as I'm in the United Kingdom & it's not available here yet. I have the one for Note 4 & S6 Edge. The S6 Edge one as a Fan & charger, but I've been waiting since June when it came out for Samsung to Supply me with the correct charger for it, but I know what you say. The Note 4, S6 Edge & Gear VR's are:- AWESOME!! SAMSUNG, YOU Are KICKING APPLE!! the rumours are the S7 is going to have a holographic/flexible display & it's going to be launched in January. I know their just rumours, but swipe your hand down the screen & a holographic Screen comes up in front of you!!! hehe sorry that would be bad lol, but jealous as the we can't get the Gear VR in the UK yet, I'm hoping jt well be Within the next 3 weeks & as for the Note 5, we MIGHT get it in January, but their is no guaranteed It will come to the UK at all.
