Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, unfortunately the way it's made you have you take case off. Phones plugs into a "usb c" at bottom and there's another hand on top which locks it when you press down. It's a pain if you have a heavy duty Otter Box but games are worth it.

Please try again later.I cannot say with 100% certainty as I don't use a case with my phone, but the phone (Note5) is a snug fit by itself without a case so I don't see how it would be possible to fit the phone+case into the Gear VR. Not to mention, there are so many different types and size cases, there would be no way to account for the size difference in all of them.
