- Answer Greetings. Thank you for reaching out with your question. This is the 2015 model of the Gear VR and is compatible with the following devices: Galaxy Note5, S6 edge+, S6 and S6 edge. The 2016 model of the Gear VR is compatible with the following devices: Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, and Galaxy S6 edge+. - Answer Unfortunately no, The Gear VR has a compatibility listing of Note 5, S6, S7 and variations thereof (e.g. s6 edge, s7 active, etc). Unless the device is rooted or other means of circumventing the software limitations of the phone has been performed it will not work.

- Answer The Samsung GearVR was designed for use with select Samsung devices pre-loaded with Oculus Software, including the Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. - Answer When using the Gear VR you have a central Hub that displays the store, apps, and other panels (almost similar to an xbox menu), one of the panels is Phone information where you can view notifications, battery status etc. If you are in an app or otherwise not immediately on this screen a toast appears notifying you that you have a text message or other notification. If you receive a phone call, the toast will appear in the middle of the screen and prompt you to remove the phone from the Headset to take the call.

- Answer No, it will have to be Note 5 or higher. The software is not compatible with the app that is used for the VR.

- Answer The side of the VR Headset has a small touch pad for minor movement in games, however, some of the more in depth games let you know that it is recommended to purchase a Bluetooth controller.
