Hey, to be honest with you...I got the Note 7 and kept my Note 4 as well. So one day I just decided to try the Note 4 on this new Gear VR and surprisingly it worked!! The only thing is the screen looks a little different because the Note 4 has a different display and you prob won't be able to use headphones since the jack is blocked by the edge of the device. Try some bluetooth headphones and that might fix the problem. Another thing is the Note 4 gets hot VERY quick but it fit right in and connected fine.

Only the samsung gear innovator edition for note 4 works with the note 4 but it has been discontinued by samsung. You probably can pick one up on the biggest online ware house store in the world or the biggest bidding site as well

You would have to get Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition for note 4, but it has been discontinued by Samsung. You can probably find it in one of the big online retailers or bidding websites that every one uses.
