Mine looked brand new out of the box. I haven't had any issues at all, nor have I had to call support for help. I've had it several weeks now and this picture is from tonight.

Please try again later.Best Buy's online definition of refurbished products are that the product is repaired and restored to a like-new state (may have minor scratches), either by one of Best Buy's in-house repair centers, the manufacturer or a third-party refurbishment company. The products are verified to work properly and include all essential parts and accessories (original or comparable substitutes).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There were no differences between the new version I'd purchased a few months earlier and the refurb I purchased. Just some tape marks on the box showing it'd been opened but otherwise it was like new for me. Just make sure the lenses are scratch free (they may need to be cleaned, these sit right on your EYES, so clean them with the appropriate cloth).
