For everyone asking if this will be restocked, the answer is NO. It will NOT be restocked. Unless Nintendo issues an official statement saying they're restocking it, don't count on it. This item is special edition to promote the release of the animal crossing game. Believe me, I wish I pre-ordered it too. I've been looking everywhere for answer and finally got one and they said not to plan on it restocking. Best buy even took down the non-refurbished (aka new) version of the animal crossing switch so I wouldn't count on it. This version (geek squad refurbished) is basically people selling it to geek squad because it doesn't work well or they don't want it anymore and geek squad repairs it and resells it. Therefore, they don't have a regular stock of it. I don't recommend buying refurbished I did some research into this and most people were disappointed with their refurbished products.

I know Australia was lucky enough to get a restock, but you have to wait for an official statement from Nintendo America (or whatever country you live in) saying they are restocking it otherwise don't count on it. Best buy even took the new version of the animal crossing switch off their website (as of 9/12/20).
