• A:Answer Special edition items by Nintendo often only run once as if it were limited edition. I know Australia was lucky enough to get a restock, but you have to wait for an official statement from Nintendo saying they are restocking it otherwise don't count on it. Best buy even took the new version of the animal crossing switch off their website (as of 9/12/20).

• A:Answer For everyone asking if this will be restocked, the answer is NO. It will NOT be restocked. Unless Nintendo issues an official statement saying they're restocking it, don't count on it. This item is special edition to promote the release of the animal crossing game. Believe me, I wish I pre-ordered it too. I've been looking everywhere for answer and finally got one and they said not to plan on it restocking. Best buy even took down the non-refurbished (aka new) version of the animal crossing switch so I wouldn't count on it. This version (geek squad refurbished) is basically people selling it to geek squad because it doesn't work well or they don't want it anymore and geek squad repairs it and resells it. Therefore, they don't have a regular stock of it. I don't recommend buying refurbished I did some research into this and most people were disappointed with their refurbished products.

I know Australia got a restock but unless Nintendo America announces a restock (unlikely with covid right now) don't count on a restock of this edition of the switch.

Q: QuestionDoes anyone know when there will be a restock? I'm assuming there will be one because they still have the console listed on their website. If there wouldn't be a restock, they would remove the item.

• A:Answer As far as I know, there is no exact date on when there will be more of these. However, there will probably be a restock at some point. You have to just be patient with stuff like this because Nintendo is trying their best to make more. The best thing you can do is constantly check if they restocked online multiple times a day. Since these sell out fast now it can be hard to get one. The other option is to wait for the pandemic to be over.

• A:Answer The animal crossing game itself can be bought in a physical version and a virtual version. The physical version is a tiny card that is put in your Nintendo Switch and you don't have to download the animal crossing game. With the virtual version you can buy on the Nintendo Switch game store and it would automatically be downloaded onto your Nintendo Switch. With the virtual version is that its always on your Nintendo Switch and you don't have to keep switching games like the physical version does. Hope this helped!
