To answer your question, no, all of our devices are designed to work for 2.4 GHz networks so that it can accommodate wider range since the 5 GHz that cannot penetrate walls and floors. This is an easy fix, since most routers nowadays are dual-band, we can ask your Internet Service Provider to separate the two networks (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for them to have different SSID so you can connect your device to 2.4 GHz networks and connecting your device using AP mode.
