Q: QuestionAre they 5 g wifi compatible and will they alert your phone if you're out of town or far from the home shopping , etc?

- A:Answer Hi Mikki, thank you for your interest in one of our products. To answer your question, no, all of our devices are designed to work for 2.4 GHz networks so that it can accommodate wider range since the 5 GHz that cannot penetrate walls and floors. This is an easy fix, since most routers nowadays are dual-band, we can ask your Internet Service Provider to separate the two networks (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for them to have different SSID so you can connect your device to 2.4 GHz networks and connecting your device using AP mode.
