How long will it last till it breaks down? null

The answer will depend on how you handle and take care of it. It’s like buying a car—if you drive the new car off of the lot and drive right into a pole, it probably won’t last as long as it would have if you’d driven it carefully and took the time to do regular maintenance.

I bought two. One was DOA & the other lasted 3 months.

At least four years in my case, and likely many more.

Having worked in retail management for 25+ years, I can tell you that many companies are now specifically designing electronics to quit working right after their warranty is up. You should at least expect a product to last as long as the warranty, but that's about it. And, this brand has a shoddy reputation. For me, mine never worked to start with, but I was not given the new one I ordered and instead given one with an open box. I got very ill, and it sat on the shelf for a while until I discovered this fact. But, by then I was given the run around. Was told it was my fault by GEO, and was told Geek Squad won't fix GEO computers (even just to see that nothing was on the hard drive after my purchase). To make matters worse, I used PayPal and could get not relief from them as well, as it was past 30 days. We are all just pawns in their money-making schemes. Don't ever expect your loving care makes a difference...

I generally agree with tho other response ('mileage may vary...'), but I would like to add two factors to consider, one positive and one negative: 1. Hardware is so standardized these days that most computers will work well for several years with little problem. You will more likely want to upgrade or replace any particular PC because you want something better, faster, lighter, shinier, etc. than because it has malfunctioned. Also, generally speaking, it is usually software that gives you problems rather than hardware. 2. The above being said, It concerns me that there is NO warranty noted in the Specifications, neither for parts nor labor. Anyone seriously considering this laptop should contact Best Buy and reassure themselves on this issue,
