Hi there! The internal components are soldered to the mainboard meaning the RAM cannot be increased. The GeoBook 120 Minecraft Edition is single channel. I hope this helps!

Forget about all the work (not to mention expertise) involved in stripping out the Mobo as suggested. However, the good news is that there is an upgraded version of this laptop available. For November 2021 Black Friday, you can get one with 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Pentium Quad-core processor, and full HD 14.1" screen. Only available in black, but at just $100 more, which is still an excellent bargain.

Judging on the slim design, and the fact that it’s a laptop, I don’t think the answer is one you’ll be happy with. But, you could alway strip the hardware and use the processors and ports on a custom board to fit new RAM cards, while also being able to fit in the casing.
That’s not very fun or easy though, so it may be best to just hear it. No, you can’t modify this laptop. Which is sad for even me, because I would give anything for a larger memory in this affordable package.
