“Got my son one, and his cat at his mom knocked it off his desk. Gives a black screen and light flashes when you go to turn it on, any idea how to fix. He just got it for Christmas 2021.”

It sounds like you've damaged the display. You likely won't be able to get this repaired for any less than equal or greater the purchase price...unless a comp. technician owes you some big favors...sorry.
