Is the cheaper $40.00 ones as good as the higher end red and black I'm lost I see it's plates come out but you don't get the waffle plates any help please let me know null

The waffle plates are meant for grilling sandwiches and keeping even cooking throughout.

I'm not really sure. But, I would recommend getting the better model. Seems to have the best options.
