Is the UV harmful to the skin? null

UV light is harmful to skin when there is direct exposure. However, if the uv bulb is inside a plastic casing, the light does not shine outward so there is no direct exposure. This is an air purifier with a uv light mounted inside it so you should be okay.

I’d say no. It’s a very small low powered light. There is also a on/off button where you can run the filter with or without the UV light on.
