• Yes, I have 9 animals Between the germ guardian, and bath and body works plug ins, you would never know I smoke nor have 9 animals.

• I can't tell you. I have only had mine for a couple weeks and not even sure what help it is. I have it running high speed 24/7. I think changing my furnace filter was more noticable.
