“Is the purifier cleaning the air once the power is turned on or do you have to turn on the UV MODE?”

• The unit will start to purifier the air as soon as it is powered on. The UV-C sanitizes the air of viruses, bacteria and mold spores, so that is just an added bonus cleaning feature.

• The UV mode is optional and silent when added to the general air filter being on. I use UV at night just for added virus caution, then run it w/o UV during the day. The unit begins cleaning the air once turned on. There is a top panel of options.
