I am using an evga rtx 3080 and gsync works correctly. I have not seen one screen tear.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it works with Nvidia G-Sync. There's even a setting in Nvidia control panel to show if it's working in game. Just make sure to check the box to turn it on.
