Not exactly. True 4k is 3840 × 2160 and this monitor is 3440 x 1440, that is why they call it WIDE QUAD HD monitor, not 4K monitor.

No. 3440x1440 (a.k.a 2k) but 4k video's don't look bad on this monitor, it's not a 4k monitor itself.
