“I am using a zotac 3070 halo and it takes two 8 pins so 16 in total, can I use that same cavle and just plug in one 8 pin into the 4070? Or will I need to get some cord to connect the two 8 pins into one single 8 pin?”

it requires two 8pin PCI cables to get power and function.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It takes only one single 8 pin connection, due the lower power requirements compared to the previous generation cards. You can just plug one of 8 pin connector and remain the another one disconnected.
