This card is, unfortunately, only PCIe gen 4, so you get half of the normal bandwidth (it's still a lot though); however, what this means is that your motherboard is very future-proof! If you wanted to upgrade to a newer GPU with PCIe gen 5 compatibility, you would be able to take advantage of the doubled bandwidth.
