If you're talking about what's in the photo attached, yes, the graphics card does include the "metal bracket." This is standard for all graphics cards and is a part of the card itself; it slips right between your computer case and the motherboard when you install it. While I can't give you the width of the card without it, nor am I even sure the width takes the bracket into account, I can say that it won't affect the actual installation or make much of a difference.
