Please try again later."God of War" on the PS4 with Kratos and the kid on a boat as the cover is the newest most recent God of War in the franchise assuming that is the one you purchased than yes that is the newest one. The original God of War for the Playstation 2 can not be purchased anywhere else besides used game retailers as that game came out back in 2005 and has never had a solo re-release or remaster with the exception of "God of War Collection" for the Playstation 3 released in 2009

There is however 3 other god of war games. The latest release being God of War 3 Remastered for the PS4. The first two were released on the PS2 console and the third being released on the PS3.
