• The Connector is for a 12 volt 'cigarette' type plug.

• The dash cam has an internal battery that is constantly charged while driving. It's purpose is to provide power to dash cam when you shut car off to transfer your videos. The dash cam is run off car through 120 volt outlet In your car or get it hardwired. Yes you can charge the internal battery to an electrical outlet. Plug USB on camera to camera then other end to electrical adapter ( not provided) then good to go.
