I believe you have to have a I phone 5c or better you have to be able to stream Netflix and Hulu plus movies as well as YouTube channels I believe if you just put it into your search on your iPhone and then you stream it right to your television from your iPhone you have to go to App Store and download it on your phone throw apple

Please try again later.In the chromecast app that you downloaded, at the top left hand side is a menu bar, click on it and then click Cast Screen*, this should take whatever you are doing on your phone and cast it to your TV screen. You can also find your other subscriptions such as YouTube in the chromecast app. Netflix and other subscriptions you pay for will be a seperate app to download that will have the options to cast at the top of the screen. Please try again later.Go to play store and download the chromecast app first, it has drivers for the device to work, then follow through setup, second download chromecast browser and install from the play store. Then play the icon on your home screen once you get it installed. to cast anything just press the cast icon, which looks like a box with wifi in the bottom corner.

If not, what I would do is just download the Chromecast app, and mirror your screen to your TV. In that case you would be able to see everything from your phone to your TV. Hope this helps. (I do use an android device, I don't know if the Chromecast behaves the same with apple as it does with android.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have an iPhone I highly suggest you get the apple TV. It works like a dream. I wouldn't waste my time with this stupid chromecast. I wasted hours trying to work it and it's garbage. Still won't work and best buy knows it but won't refund it.
