It doesn't actually hold any apps on it like a Roku for example, instead it's a casting device from your phone or laptop. So if you can currently watch NBA League Pass on your phone or laptop, then you will be able to stream it to your TV with this, otherwise you're out of luck. Anything you want to watch on the chromecast you have to download the app onto your phone or tablet and then cast it to your TV.

The device itself is just a receiver. You have to use your phone/tablet to actually run the app for the media. So if your phone gets League pass you can. If not, no..The regular NBA apps will cast so I would guess that LP does as well.
