Yes it will play the audio through your TV speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The way chromecast works is your phone only gives the chromecast the address to connect to whatever you are viewing. Once it connects, your phone is only a remote control, not a content source. I use my iPhone to play Hulu or Netflix etc. and it all goes through my surround sound system. So, once you have the content playing, your device ( phone or tablet ) is ONLY used for control.
