• The Chromecast requires an HDMI INPUT. I don't know of any tablet that has an HDMI input, only output. You would be able to use the table to cast media to a chromecast that is hooked up to a TV. It would not work to cast media to the chromecast plugged into the HDMI port of a tablet.

• It should be. HDMI is a standard. Make sure the HDMI port is a regular port in the tablet, not a Mini HDMI

• The Chromecast uses your Tablets WiFi to cast. Your monitor is what needs the HDMI port. The Chromecast uses its built in WiFi to connect to the same WiFi your Tablet is using. Plug it into your monitors HDMI port and the Magic Begins.
