• It will work with anything that has an HDMI port, and you just have to get it power somehow (USB). That could be through a port on the projector or by plugging it into the wall.

• absolutely. Set it up like the instructions show for a tv and you should be good to go. The Epson 2040 has hdmi input so it's straight forward.
