• Chromecast is not programmable. It simply casts what you can display/see/view in your CHROME BROWSER to your TV assuming you have a spare HDMI input..

• Chromecast is simply a device to send ("cast") video/audio from your smartphone or PC to your TV screen. It is not a web browser and does not have apps per se.

• Yes, if you use google chrome. May not work with Internet Explorer but works just fine with google chrome

• If you are using Chrome browser and have the Chrome Cast extension install, it will cast any webpage. The Cast icon will appear near the top right corner of you browser.

• yes there are a number of websites that you can view using chrome cast. go tot he app and see what is offered.

• No To be honest the chromecast is only good to control what your kids watch for $5 more the fire tv stick blows it out of the water
