“Can I use this Chrome-cast to connect and display a presentation(ppt) from my laptop? We want to display a presentation from a laptop to a current projector and a new additional TV. But there is not easy to connect DB-9 connector to the TV. Can we use this Chrome cast to wireless-connect and dispaly ppt on the TV? Thank you”

If you can open your presentation in a Chrome browser it should work. But I don't think you can cast from Powerpoint.

If yours is supported you can mirror your android screen to the chrome cast and display what is on your phones screen. So if you have the presentation on your android phone then you could display if your projector is a supported device.
