Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and no. You cannot directly Mirror your Windows Desktop. You can cast anything in a Desktop Chrome Browser. Upload the Files to a Google Drive account and open them within the Chrome Browser and Cast it to a Chromecast. Please Note, there are a slew of Apps for the Chromecast that is ever changing. There may also be a third party App available, if not now then in the future. Also, you can Screen Cast from Android devices. I have loaded PowerPoint files onto my Android Tablet and used a Chromecast to display them on a monitor and a projector with HDMI input.

In any case, I do not recommend anyone to buy this product. I bought in July and it did not worked the whole movie at every time I wanted to use it. Try some other devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can do that if you use Google Docs, they have native cast built in. At work I use my phone to cast power point presentations to a large TV. Another way to cast your screen is to open chrome browser and there should be a cast button top right which will allow you to duplicate the screen on the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From a computer only if you are using the online versions of Word or Excel. You can "cast" a tab from Google Chrome. If you are looking for a screen mirroring device then you need to look for something that is miracast supported. The Chromecast can do a lot but it is not designed to be a screen mirroring device.
