• Chrome Cast doesn't need to be out in the open to work. Just have a power source close to the HDMI you're plugging it into and you're good to go.

• It hangs down from hdmi port unseen. There is a thin power cable that needs to be plugged in. Easily hideable

• yes, you can hide it. but typically you would plug it in the back on your TV
