Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer: yes. Long answer: yes but it will depend on your internet speeds. Video only needs about 1.5 mbps to stream. However, it may only be in standard (digital) definition at around 320-480 resolution. 5-10 mbps should get you at least 720p high definition resolution with little to no buffering. Anything faster, 1080p high def resolution. Also, you need to use the Chrome web browser and download the Chromecast add-on app via the Chrome Web Store.

Please try again later.I can't speak for all browsers, but from Google Chrome you can download an extension which will allow you to stream whatever you see in your browser. Also this next part isn't related to your question, but if you also want to stream a file on your PC (doesn't have to be in a browser), you can do that as well with an extension.
