• Nope, you need to be connected to the same WiFi network.

• Chromecast relies on Wi-Fi, but you can call Google Chromecast customer service to learn you various options. The Google Chromecast Customer Service phone numbers for various countries are available here: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6025971?hl=en I have used them in the past and Google Chromecast Customer Service is excellent.

• I tried it many times and it doesn't work. I usually turn my phone into a hotspot and stream the video from my tablet
