“Will this work with "Xfinity on the Go"? I travel often and know the previous chromecast didn't work with "Xfinity on the Go". Have they fixed this issue?”

It works with my Xfinity, no issues yet. But there are no guarantees that it works with yours. My service is from Comcast in South Florida and it works in Central Florida where there is NO Comcast service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You still can't broadcast from the app. My workaround was to open up comcast on my computer and then share my chrome browser with the video playing. This worked fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just opened my Xfinity TV Go app and the Chromecast icon is not there. So it seems the compatibility is not built in to the TV Go app. My other apps connect fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the older Chromecast. But it can work with the Xfinity app or any app on Android devices that support Casting of your screen. If you are on a PC running Chrome, you can cast anything you can see on your browser too. iPad/iPhone will NOT work. Comcast would have to add a dedicated chromecast button to their apps and they are not going to do it. In fact, their app disables direct wired connections from your tablet / phone to your HDMI TV. But if your android is fast enough and your wifi is fast enough, you can cast your screen without wires.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not entirely sure but Xfinity to go is not needed. Download the tivo app or use tivo online with the built in tivo stream and live tv and your recorded programs are always with you.
