Yes u can anything on ur phone can be mirrored or transmitted to the tv

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as the app has the ability to cast, you should be fine. I haven't tried MTV or VH1. But almost all of the apps I have tried worked just fine with Chromecast.

Please try again later.There's a feature in android phones which can cast the entire phone screen, so basically whatever is running on the phone will be mirrored onto the TV. (I'm not sure about apple products). Also, there are many apps which can directly cast to chromecast.

Please try again later.Some apps have casting capabilities which means you can cast it to the TV and still do other tasks on your phone with the casting running in the background. Some apps, like the AMC app does not cast yet, however you can mirror your phone onto the TV screen, so as long as it's running on your phone, it will show on the TV. It just wouldn't allow you to do anything else on your phone without interruptng what's on the TV screen as well.

Please try again later.anything you can see on your phone you can see on Chromecast unless it's been specifically blocked like the NFL app. But, there are some specific apps for Chromecastt that are even better...just go to Chromecast.com and it will tell you what apps are available.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on whether the app offers chromecast support. MTV does, HBO does, Showtime does. I am not sure about VH1. Cinemax does not. If you download Google home app, it will show you the compatible video streaming apps.
